question: "why would a man say to a woman: You are hot!". what goes through his mind and his lets these words come out of his mouth? is it pure curiosity, to see her reaction? is he after something? is it plain fishing? is he expecting a slap or a phone number? who cares what he thinks? who give 2 cents on his assessment? potential replies: "why thank you!" or "i know" ,"what's it to you!"
my non-witty answer is almost always: "that's what my husband says to me all the time". it usually cuts the conversation short and makes it awkward. but why should i be the one o feel awkward when i didn't start it?
